Experienced Provider of Section J Reports in NSW
Section J Reports (also known as Compliance Assessments) relate to Volume One of the Building Code of Australia, covering Class 2 to 9 buildings, and address the energy efficiency requirements of commercial and multi-residential buildings.

Who needs one?
Section J Reports or Compliance Assessments cover new commerical developments, plus residential buildings that are not covered under Class 1 or 2, such as:​

If you're developing a Class 2 to 9 building, such as an apartment building, office, or retail space, in NSW, a Section J assessment is generally required as part of your Development Application.
What is a Section J report?
A Section J assessment reviews your building design against energy efficiency measures, including building fabric, glazing, air movement, and services, with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the building sector.

Our assessors review your design against Section J requirements and prepare your report, ready for submission.
To obtain a Section J Report from our office, we will initially provide a Fee Proposal for you or your client, detailing the extent and cost of our services.

The Fee Proposal is free of charge, and all we need is a set of the proposed plans (in PDF) emailed to us at info@basixcertificatecentre.com.au
