Peter Waller, the main contributing figure behind Basix Certificate Centre, has been a trusted name in NSW housing since 1980.

Starting his career in 1980 as a selected member of  "Pre-Apprenticeship Carpentry and Joinery Course:, he went on to complete the "Building Foreman and Clerk of Works Post-Trade Certificate" and the "Local Government Building Inspectors Qualifying Subjects" course.

Peter worked on-site as a carpenter before moving into estimating and scheduling with Huxley Homes, where he was granted a full builders licence in 1988 (licence no. 40605). He continued developing his expertise across Bovis Homes, Lyndsay Edmonds Homes, and spent thirteen years as Chief Estimator and General Office Manager at award-winning builder Riverford Homes, gaining extensive experience in computerised estimating and CAD drafting.

Since 2001, Peter has been an accredited Energy Assessor with ABSA (Australian Building Sustainability Association), specialising in BASIX, Thermal, and Section J certificates for the NSW housing industry.
