BASIX & Thermal Performance Certificate

At the BASIX Certificate Centre we can provide you with a Thermal Performance Certificate (commonly referred to as a Thermal Comfort Certificate) by an ABSA approved assessor, complete and ready for submission with your BASIX Certificate to council. 

With our extensive knowledge of the Housing Industry we will provide you with suitable and practical solutions for your construction, meeting the current targets set by BASIX.

Our assessor will calculate the Thermal Performance simulations based on minimal construction costs, or tailored to suit your specific needs or wants.

Items considered could be:

  • Glazing

  • Wall insulation

  • Ceiling insulation

  • Shading from structures

  • Draft seals

  • External window shutters or screens

  • Construction methods of walls, floors, ceilings, eaves, window sizes etc.

Others may provide you with "soft-option" solutions that could cost you thousands of dollars during construction, but we will always have your budget or specifications in mind.

You can either mail your architectural plans to us or submit them by email (in suitable drawing files) and our "turn-around" time from receipt of your plans to return to you by Express Post is currently 3 - 5 working days.
